Asher Introduced in Burnt Offerings, Asher was once part of a ménage à trois with his human servant, Julianna and Jean-Claude. Golden haired, blue eyed , Asher was as beautiful as JC and the three of them were emotionally bound by love not just Belle Morte's control or the arduer. While JC was away Asher & Julianna were captured by Church zealots & Julianna was burned as a witch while Asher- mon chardonneret to JC is horribly scarred when holy water is dripped on him like acid. He blames JC for Julianna's death and his disfigurement as Belle Morte turns him away in repulsion and anger since Asher & JC are the only ones ever to leave her willingly. Anita sees Asher's inner bauty and shares JC's emotions and memories until she, JC and Asher bind to share the vampire arduer with a human love and commitment. |
